2017 Rüdesheim Berg Schlossberg Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Rheingau, Germany

Firm, fairly deep nose, yellow spice, vegetal notes reminiscent of sesame, hint of tobacco, rather elegant yellow fruit, nutty traces, earthy and mineral notes. Tart and quite firm on the palate, ripe fruit, yeasty and nutty aromas, touch of yellow spice, elegant acidity, ripe, integrated tannins, persistent, hint of tobacco, quite full-bodied, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, hint of caramel, noticeable peppery spice and more nutty notes on a very good, firm finish. Only shows its true potential on the third day.
