2006 Kalterersee/Lago di Caldaro DOC Classico Superiore Kalkofen, Alto Adige, Italy

Very pure nose with red berries and a hint of plums, light floral and mineral notes. Clear style on the palate too, ripe fruit, almonds, floral and mineral notes, very slightly astringent tannins, quite full-bodied, delicate spice, noticeable alcohol, good persistence, delicate roasted notes, not particularly deep, attractive to good finish.
