2007 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Exilissi, Alto Adige, Italy

Fairly muted nose, fairly mature, yellow fruit and some burnt notes, hint of coffee, rose wood and dried medicinal herbs. Soft on the palate, but also slightly alcoholic, gentle, very delicately sweet preserved yellow fruit, some banana and lychee too, elegant bitter coffee and cocoa, rose wood and candied fruit, moderate acidity, expansive and full-bodied, noticeable warm alcohol, but not obtrusive, delicate bitter and light herbaceous notes on a very good finish.
