2009 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Exilissi, Alto Adige, Italy

Editor note: Fairly tart nose, vegetal notes, earthy and mineral notes, partly dried pomaceous fruit and citrus notes. Very full-bodied on the palate, more dried, sweetish, jammy fruit, slightly dissolute, vegetal notes and some dried herbs, elegant acidity, powerful and persistent, noticeable bitter note typical of the variety, some roses in the background, tart spice, quite deep, slightly noticeable alcohol on a slightly sweetish, very good finish. Already a little overdone.
