Very slightly jammy red and some black berries on the nose, prominent almonds, hint of dried herbs. Clear fruit on the palate, slightly jammy again, noticeable almonds, mature tannins, fairly creamy, hint of cocoa, fairly persistent, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, quite a good finish. Has improved significantly over the past few months.

Editor note: Delicately tart nose, red berries and a hint of black berries, rubbery notes and violets. Straightforward fruit on the palate, delicate vegetal notes and almonds, again a hint of rubber and violety, moderate, fine sandy tannins, not particularly deep, attractive to good finish.
