The estate is located in the municipality Gau-Odernheim (area Nierstein ) at the foot of Petersberg in the German wine-growing region Rheinhessen, The origin dates back to the 17th century. After a varied history Georg-Heinz Becker built in 1962 outside the village of a new winery and called it "rock cellar". In the year 2005 it got the today's name and is since 2006 in the fourth generation of the family by the married couple Julia Landgraf geb. Becker (Dipl. Ing. Viticulture & Oenology) and Johannes Landgraf (viticulture technician). The vineyards cover nine hectares of vineyards in the individual layers Herrgottspfad and Mount of Olives (Gau-Odernheim), and Rosenberg (Biebelnheim). They are with the white wine varieties Riesling, Pinot Blanc ( Pinot Blanc ) and Pinot Gris ( Pinot gris ), and with the red varieties Pinot Noir ( Pinot Noir ) and St. Laurent planted.

There is a natural, environmentally friendly management with greening and soil nutrition with natural humus, as well as waiver irrigation and artificial mineral fertilizers.
