2016 Sasbach Limburg Weißburgunder trocken VDP.Erste Lage, Baden, Germany

Fairly reductive nose, still slightly restless, vegetal notes, light lactic and volatile notes, restrained yellow fruit, light nutty, earthy and mineral notes. Tart, rather closed, slightly sharp fruit on the palate, fairly prominent acidity, fresh vegetal notes, some olive oil and salty notes, moderate fine tannins, medium body, fairly persistent, but currently as yet reveals nothing, sweetish traces in the background, tart mineral notes, firm bite on a good to very good finish. Becomes more approachable after two days of aeration, definitely needs time to mature.
