Black berries and a few cherries on the nose, nutty, floral and herbaceous aromas, hint of bacon. Rather smooth, partly preserved fruit on the palate, slightly smoky oak, touch of dark chocolate, fine sandy tannins, hint of coffee, fairly persistent, slightly creamy, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, more prominent chocolate on a good to very good finish.
