Very full-bodied, firm, tart, juicy, partly preserved dar fruit on the palate, toasted, nutty, spicy oak, some dark chocolate, hint of tobacco and ashes, persistent, fine, still fairly prominent tannins, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, but also has cool earthy and mineral elements, hint of mint in the background, more tarry traces, some depth, more spicy oak, earthy and mineral notes on a very good firm, tart, juicy finish.
