2013 St. Laurent Reserve trocken, Burgenland, Austria

Nutty nose, light spicy notes, preserved and partly dried mixed berries and cherries, some juniper and licorice, earthy notes. Tart, partly preserved fruit on the palate, toasted and light sooty notes, fairly prominent, slightly astringent tannins, some bacon and spicy notes, fairly persistent, cocoa and licorice, noticeable warm alcohol, hint of rum punch, slightly brittle on a decent to good finish.
