The estate is located in the municipality Malterdingen (area Breisgau) in the German wine-growing region to bathe, Until 1987, they were members of a cooperative, then started to market the wines themselves. Owners are Barbara and Bernhard Huber. In the 14th century brought the Cistercian the Pinot Noir (Pinot Noir) to Malterdingen. The manor of the monks was on the site of the winery Huber.
