1990 Spätburgunder trocken R, Baden, Germany

Rather light ruby-garnet. Aroma of elderberry and redcurrant blossoms, raspberries and a hint of gooseberries. Slender and taut in the mouth, only restrained, with air more present fruit, toasty notes, taut tannin, mineral on the palate, idiosyncratic, but still quite fresh, good finish.
