2004 Chardonnay trocken "R", Baden, Germany

Deep, mineral aroma of artichokes, green beans, honeydew melon and some apple with present but very well integrated wood spice. Quite juicy in the mouth, ripe fruit with a lot of melting, fine, lively acidity, minty and nutty aromas, slightly smoky wood, very persistent on the palate, strong body, mineral backbone, with all its power rather tightly woven, dense, deep and long.
