2015 Gau-Algesheim Johannisberg Spätburgunder trocken, Rheinhessen, Germany

Clear, firm, slightly nutty-woody nose, red and black berries, some tobacco, earthy, mineral and very slightly greasy notes. Ripe, juicy fruit, cocoa-spicy and tobacco notes, herbs, vanilla and a touch of coffee, persistent, good substance, full-bodied and has some warmth, salty notes, very good finish, slightly cocoa-like finish.
