The estate is located in the municipality of Leiwen (Bernkastel area) in the German wine-growing region Moselle, It is managed in the third family generation by Stefan Blees in collaboration with his father Karl Blees. A guest house is connected. The vineyards cover 7.5 hectares of vineyards in individual locations Altärchen and pharmacy (Trittenheim), Gärtchen (privately owned) and Goldtröpfchen (Piesport), and monastery garden and Laurentiuslay (Leiwen). They are planted to over 80% with Riesling, as well as the varieties Pinot Blanc, Rivaner and Pinot Noir. In the vineyard, natural viticulture is practiced with environmentally friendly fertilization, limited pruning and careful care of the vines. The fermentation is temperature controlled in relatively small stainless steel containers and wooden barrels with the aim of elegant, fruit-emphasized wines. Around 75% are dry and semi-dry, and 25% with natural fruit sweetness.
