The estate is located in the commune of Villány in the eponymous winegrowing region in Hungary. The ancestors of the family emigrated to here from Germany. Today the estate is run by József Bock, the ninth generation to do so. The vineyard area totals 55 hectares, planted with the following red varieties: Blauer Portugieser, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Kékfrankos, Kadarka, Gamay and Syrah, as well as with the following white varieties: Rajnai Rizling (Rhine Riesling), Olasz Rizling (Welschriesing), Chardonnay and Hárselevelü. The premium wines include the flagship „Magnifico“ (Merlot) as well as the blends „Bock Cuvée“ and „Capella“ (both Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot), all of which are matured in new narriques for 24 months, Blaufränkisch Selection (14 months in barrique), as well as Chardonnay (8 months in barrique).
