2005 Kamptal Grüner Veltliner trocken exclusiv "Drei Weingärten", Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Initially, unusually fruit nose with preserved mandarin oranges, pineapple, pears as well as some stone fruit, with aeration this changes completely, showing citrus notes as well as lots of fresh herbaceous aromas (particularly rucola). In the mouth, too, initially fruity and then increasingly herbaceous, with lively acidity and intense peppery spice, tart mineral notes on the palate, some tannins, still appears a little restless and rough, but becomes firmer with aeration, very good persistence, long finish.
