2017 Sulzfeld Sonnenberg Blauer Silvaner trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Delicate nutty and floral notes on the nose, light vegetal notes, fairly elegant yellow fruit aromas, peppery, earthy and mineral notes. Ripe, fairly juicy, slightly off-dry fruit on the palate, vegetal and herbaceous notes, some yellow spice and peppery reaces, elegant acidity, integrated tannins provide grip, good persistence, hint of bacon, touch of aniseed, hint of red berries, clear contours, good to very good, delicately sweetish but also gripping finish.
