2016 Dienheim Falkenberg Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Rheinhessen, Germany

Nose still very slightly reductive, vegetal and earthy notes, hint of mushrooms, citrus, stone and apple fruit. Slightly muted on the palate, more vegetal notes and mushrooms, earthy notes, very slightly sweetish and creamy, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, partly candied fruit, elegant acidity, moderate tannins, still slightly astringent, some substance and persistence, mineral notes, floral traces, hint of bacon on a good to very good finish.
