2015 Heimersheim Burggarten Spätburgunder trocken R , Lagenwein, Ahr, Germany

Sligthtly tart nose, light earthy notes, hint of mushrooms, red and a few black berries, hint of tobacco, touch of root vegetables, smoky oak, peppery traces. Clear, tart, fairly cool fruit on the palate, earthy and dried vegetal notes, smoky oak, light bite, fine sandy tannins, still slightlyastringent, fairly persistent, salty traces, light toasted notes and a hint of coffee in the background, some Mediterranean herbs, full-bodied, becomes more juicy with aeration, has bite, more toasted and light salty notes on a very good finish.
