The traditional winery is located in Zöbing am Kamp in the wine-growing region Kamptal (Lower Austria). It was founded by Josef Eder in 1896. Today it is owned by granddaughter Notburga Sedlmayr. At the turn of the millennium there was a reorientation with the oenological support of Jürgen von der Mark ( Master of Wine ). Ulrich Fiala (Managing Director), Oliver Fischer (Winemaker) and Marc Fernandez (Public Relations) have been responsible for the company since 2009.

The vineyards cover 27 hectares of vineyards in the vineyards Heiligenstein Eichelberg Fahnberg, Hissberg, Tal, Käfertal and Seeberg, They are planted with the white varieties Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Muskat-Ottonel, Gelber Muskateller, Frühroter Veltliner , Neuburger and Müller-Thurgau, as well as with the red varieties Zweigelt, St. Laurent, Blauburger, Blauer Portugieser, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot , There is a gentle and natural management with yield reduction by up to 75% to guarantee the best possible grape quality. Multiple, strict controls and selections ensure that only healthy and fully ripe grapes are processed. The use of machines is largely avoided. The white wines are aged in stainless steel tanks and the red wines are aged in the old tradition in large wooden barrels or in barriques.
