The "Wine and Sektgut Heinz Bus & Sohn" is located in the community Insheim (area Southern Wine Route) in the German wine-growing area palatinate, The history of the traditional family business dates back to the late 16th century. It is now run by Carsten Bus in the 7th generation. The vineyards cover 40 hectares of vineyards in the individual layer Schäfergarten (home). They are planted with the white varieties Riesling, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, Müller-Thurgau, Bacchus and Ortega, and with the red varieties Pinot Noir, Dornfelder, St. Laurent, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.

The environmentally friendly management is done in the traditional way. Through green slopes is the ecological Promoted balance. The yield-reduced grapes are gently pressed gently, followed by a slow fermentation with natural yeasts. Depending on the type of wine, the wines are aged in steel tanks, barrels or oak barrels. These are used for sparkling wine base wines store after fermentation until 24 months on the yeast. These are, for example, Pinot Blanc, Dornfelder and Riesling. It is also a "Bussecco" (sparkling wine) produced.
