2004 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Merlot Riserva, Alto Adige, Italy

Plums, red berries, black berries and some tobacco on the nose, braised and dried bell peppers. Elegant and juicy fruit on the palate, sugar candy, oak, some sandy and astringent tannins, licorice, some dried prunes and mixed berries, noticeable alcohol, not particularly deep, good finish.
