2005 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Cabernet Riserva, Alto Adige, Italy

Ripe black berries on the nose, some dried herbs and mineral notes, smoky and light sooty notes. Fairly cool style, slightly tart dark fruit on the palate, vegetal traces, smoky, roasted oak, fairly prominent, slightly dusty and astringent tannins, slightly persistent, slightly sandy on a good finish.
