2007 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Nussleiten, Alto Adige, Italy

Fairly open, but also compact nose, herbs and spices, preserved dark berries, dried prunes and figs. More partly dried plum, fig and berry fruit on the palate, delicate roasted notes, spicy oak, dried vegetal and herbaceous notes, elegant acidity, partly mature tannins, but partly also coarse and astringent, fairly persistent, but not particularly deep, slightly jammy and overripe, hint of licorice and delicate sweetish creamy notes on an attractive to good finish.
