2009 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Gewürztraminer, Alto Adige, Italy

Preserved Mediterranean fruit and melon on the nose, herbs and rosewood, mineral notes. Fairly cool on the palate, slightly perfumed citrus fruit, lychee, apple and melon, herbaceous notes, delicately bitter mineral notes in the background, integrated acidity, has backbone and substance, still slightly closed, slightly rough on a very good finish.

Best to drink: Bis 2016+. What our ratings mean
