2014 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Lagrein Riserva, Alto Adige, Italy

Light dried vegetal notes on the nose, hint of bacon, some oak, black berries, hint of mushrooms. Tart dark fruit on the palate, prominent vegetal, herbaceous and earthy notes, fairly prominent acidity, tannins still slightly brittle, light green notes, fairly persistent, some toasted oak in the background, lightsalty notes, hint of pepper, touch of citrus, good to very good finish.
