2015 Riesling feinherb Fährfels, Mosel, Germany

Rather firm and deep, grassy-herbal, clearly yeasty and still slightly sulphurous aroma of citrus and stone fruit with light floral aromas, a hint of black berries and clear minerality. Juicy, ripe, sweet fruit, tobacco-vegetable, yeasty and earthy aromas, slightly nutty on the palate, lively acidity and crumbly-sandy tannins, good substance and persistence, lots of grip and crumbly-stony, dark minerality, some candy in the background, hinted liquorice, the sweetness steals the wine a bit the show, some depth, quite solid structure, very good, catchy finish with yeast, sweet candied fruit, dried plant aromas and dark, earthy minerality.
