2017 Köwerich Laurentiuslay Riesling trocken "Alte Reben - Steillage", Mosel, Germany

Muted, vegetal, blurry yellow-fruity nose with earthy and slightly bacony notes. Slightly rough in the mouth, sweetish, partly candied fruit with nutty, smoky and bacon-like notes, slightly planty on the palate, sandy tannins, yellow-spicy hints, a hint of tobacco, some warmth, neat, sweetishly blurred finish with hints of candy, caramel and vegetable tones.
