2014 Guntersblum Kreuz Kapelle Blauer Spätburgunder trocken, Rheinhessen, Germany

Light dried floral notes on the nose, hint of tobacco, earthy notes, predominantly red berries, whiff of old oak. Ripe, partly preserved fruit on the palate, light nutty notes and some chocolate, fairly full-bodied and persistent, slightly jammy style, integrated tannins, salty traces in the background, herbaceous and floral traces, good to very good finish.
