2017 Wachenheim Altenburg Riesling VDP.Erste Lage trocken "P.C.", Pfalz, Germany

Somewhat dried-vegetable and reminiscent of Provence herbs, delicately nutty and a hint of floral scent with yellow-fruity aromas and lots of earthy minerality. Firmly woven, tart, rather cool fruit, slightly tobacco, nutty and earthy notes, very fine acidity and some grip of crumbly tannin, persistent, good depth, intense minerality, still young and little developed, has bite and tension, very good, tight finish with lots of pull. Still has time.
