2017 Wachenheim Goldbächel Riesling VDP.Erste Lage trocken "P.C", Pfalz, Germany

Firm, relatively cool, somewhat floral and delicately yeasty bouquet with yellow fruity aromas, hints of nutty tones, clearly tart herbs and minerality. Ripe, rather calm tart fruit, slightly nutty, delicately vegetal and hints of tobacco, fine acidity, good substance and persistence, earthy minerality, some depth and good substance, fine grip, has melting and also some warmth, slightly caramel and nutty, a hint of dark berries in the background, very good, firm, tart and mineral finish. Still needs a little time.
