, Viticulture has been practiced by the family since the 16th century. Today the estate of Dr. Peter Crusius led. The vineyards cover 17 hectares of vineyards in the individual layers Rock Steyer
and Klosterberg (Norheim), Felsenberg
and copper mine
(Schloßböckelheim), as well as bastion
, Kickelskopf, Nonnengarten and Rotenfels
(Traisen). They are mainly with the Riesling (65%), and Pinot Blanc (20%), Müller-Thurgau (5%), Pinot Noir (5%) and other Burgunder varieties (5%) planted. The criteria of the farm are quality-oriented work in the vineyard, strict selection during the grape harvest and careful aging in oak barrels. In addition to the dry wines developed in appropriate years and ice wines are produced. Every year around 90,000 bottles of wine are produced. It is also produced bottle-fermented champagne and Hefebrand. The winery is a member of VDP
(Verband deutscher Prädikatsweingüter).
