The estate is located in the commune of Ockfen-Wawern (Saar area) at the foot of the Bockstein mountain in the German wine-growing region Moselle, The family has documented viticulture since 1758. After the death of Hans-Henning Fischer it has been run by his widow Karin since 1999. The vineyards cover 14.5 hectares of vineyards in the individual layers Bockstein (Ockfen) and privately owned Mr. Berger (Wawern). They are planted exclusively with the Riesling. One takes place in the wine cellar spontaneous fermentation through exclusively natural yeasts. The aim is to preserve the location-specific characteristics. To a large extent, predicate wines are pressed as late harvest, cabinet and selection. They are exported to the USA, Japan, England and Australia. The winery is a member of VDP (Association of German quality wine estates).
