1999 Ihringen Winklerberg Spätburgunder trocken Mimus, Baden, Germany

Clear garnet red, significantly lighter on the rim. Lots of roasted, toasted aromas on the nose, behind this cooked and dried red fruits. Quite juicy fruit with sweet spicy oak, fine-grained, dusty tannins, has power and is attractively juicy, quite persistent on the palate, good balance, fruity finish with spicy oak.
