2003 Achkarren Schlossberg Riesling Spätlese trocken ***, Baden, Germany

Fairly shy nose, cool mineral notes, fairly tart citrus with a hint of peaches and some black berries. Light-bodied style, delicate fruit, elegant acidity and slightly rough tannins, tart mienral notes on the palate, firm structure, has bite, quite refreshing in spite of the tannins, good finish.
