2003 Ihringen Winklerberg Riesling Spätlese trocken ***, Baden, Germany

Fairly closed nose, mature with some vegetal notes, muted stone fruit and Mediterranean fruit, some underlying lively mineral notes. Medium-bodied and very elegant on the palate, very complex, persistent fruit, stone fruit, Mediterranean fruit and some oranges, clearly shows its origin, well integrated acidity typical of the variety, light tannic touch, long fruity finish.
