2004 Ihringen Winklerberg Weißburgunder Spätlese trocken ***, Großes Gewächs, Baden, Germany

Very deep and concentrated on the nose, loads of very ripe pomaceous fruit and delicate balsamic notes. Full-bodied and juicy on the palate, extremely elegant acidity, cool mineral notes, very light waxy traces, still appears very youthful and undeveloped, full-bodied without being heavy, deep and persistent, delicate oak, long finish. Definitely needs time to mature.
