2006 Ihringen Winklerberg Grauburgunder Spätlese trocken, Baden, Germany

Fairly mature nose, some pomaceous fruit and melon, vegetal and nutty notes, light hint of old oak. Elegant, juicy dry fruit, quite lively acidity, touch of carbon dioxide, nutty notes and old oak, slightly astringent tannins, not particularly deep, delicate tart notes, light earthy notes, slightly astringent again on an attractive to good finish.

Editor note: Apples and melon on the nose, some pistachio and a hint of white vegetables, light vegetal notes and a very delicate hint of old oak. Firm on the palate, cool fruit, apples and lemons, light vegetal and nutty notes, mineral traces, quite good persistence, light acid bite, good finish.
