Ripe, tart, relatively dark fruit on the palate, touch of oak, dark chocolate, bacon, peppery spice, lively acidity, firm, youthful tannins. toasted notes, full-bodied and persistent, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, earthy and salty mineral notes in the background, still largely undeveloped, hint of pomegranate, more toasted notes and chocolate on a very good, tart, juicy finish.
