1999 Birkweiler Mandelberg Weißburgunder Spätlese trocken Großes Gewächs Pfalz, Pfalz, Germany

Very closed nose, aromas of pineapple, apples and some peach, delicate minerals and spice. Very firm, clean fruit, powerful and well structured, elegant acidity, minerals and spice on the palate, also appears shy and closed on the palate, compact, only an average finish.
