2002 Riesling Spätlese trocken aus dem Buntsandstein, Pfalz, Germany

Very green characters on the nose, with herbs and vegetal notes, piquant citrus aromas, lots of cool mineral notes. Light-bodied, very firmly structured fruit, piquant acidity and lots of cool, gripping mineral notes, persistent on the palate, again green vegetal flavours, very good depth and length. Quite an uncompromising style - you either like it or not.
