2017 Heilbronn Stiftsberg Riesling Spätlese VDP.Grosse Lage, Württemberg, Germany

Candied citrus fruit, stone fruit and a hint of dark berries on the nose, yellow spice, herbaceous and mineral notes. Ripe, sweet, juicy fruit on the palate, floral and herbaceous notes, some sugar candy, hint of dark berries, more yellow spice, persistent, prominent mineral notes, elegant, lively acidity, noticeable tannic grip, hint of bacon, peppery traces, very good, firm, juicy, sweet, spicy and fairly grippy finish.
