2007 Ried Rabenstein Grüner Veltliner trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Tranquil nose, pomaceous fruit, light vegetal and nutty notes, some old oak. Prominent apple fruit on the palate, vegetal and nutty notes, oak, elegant acidity, fairly creamy, good persistence, quite harmonious, but very slightly astringent on a good finish.

Editor note: Ripe. mature apple on the nose, delicate old oak, floral notes and wilted leaves. More wilted flowers on the palate, slightly nutty oak and coconut, grated and preserved apples, integrated acidity provides backbone, quite full-bodied, an unusual style - appears mature on the one hand, but also still appears to have potential, clean, well made, attractive to good finish.
