2011 Escherndorf Lump Silvaner trocken VDP.Erste Lage, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Nutty, somewhat yellow-spicy and clearly fresh-vegetable aroma of ripe yellow fruits with, some lemon verbena as well as slightly peppery and clearly mineral notes. Ripe, juicy fruit, a little earthy, again nutty and also slightly tobacco, very fine acidity, crumbly-sandy tannin, woody tones on the palate, a little stewed mushrooms, good persistence and substance, very slightly sweet melting, a little vanilla and a hint of smoke, very good, juicy finish with light candied tones
