2018 Escherndorf Fürstenberg Silvaner VDP.Erste Lage, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Tart nose, earthy and prominent vegetal notes, restrained yellow fruit aromas, chalky mineral notes. Firm on the palate, still yeasty, touch of almonds, lively, elegant acidity, noticeable tannic grip, restrained, bone-dry fruit, more chalky and slightly salty mineral notes, hint of tobacco and bacon, some caraway seed, very good, tart finish.
