Firm nose, toasted notes, ripe black berries and a few cherries, dried vegetal, herbaceous and peppery aromas, earthy as well as leathery, animal traces. Ripe, firm, juicy fruit on the palate, toasted and nutty notes, some chocolate, fairly prominent youthful, fine sandy tannins, full-bodied, noticeable warm alcohol, light salty notes in the background, light acid bite, hint of bacon, more noticeable alcohol on a good to very good, very slightly jammy finish.
