Light oak and earthy notes on the nose, restrained red berries and a few black berries, hint of bacon. Tart fruit on the palate, nutty oak, very light toasted notes, hint of bacon, vegetal traces, light bite, fine, sandy tannins, still slightly astringent, fairly persistent, again slightly astringent on a good finish. Has actually become a little more brittle with maturation.

Editor note: Delicate nutty notes and floral traces on the nose, partly preserved red berries, herbaceous traces, hint of vanilla and curcuma. Clear, straightforward, elegant, juicy, fairly polished fruit on the palate, delicate acid bite, hint of orange zests, peppery notes in the background, good persistence, hint of tobacco, salty mineral notes, smoky traces on a very good, elegant, juicy, spicy finish.
