The estate is located in the town of Iphofen (Steigerwald / Schwanberger Land area) in the German wine-growing region Franconia
, As early as the 18th century, ancestors cultivated vines and grew wines. The traditional family business is run by Irmgard and Werner Emmerich in the fifth generation. The sixth generation with Silvia, Milan, Heike and Martin is in the starting blocks so to speak. A new winery with guest rooms was opened on the southern edge of Iphofen in 2000.
