2014 Monzingen Halenberg Riesling R, VDP.Grosse Lage, Nahe, Germany

Fairly deep nose, light vegetal and herbaceous notes, floral notes, ripe citrus and srtone fruit, light vegetal notes reminiscent of celery, prominent mineral notes. Firm, juicy, slightly sweetish fruit on the palate, firm grip, fairly prominent acidity, fairly tart tannins, persistent and has some depth, prominent mineral notes, still largely undeveloped, delicate hint of tobacco in the background, fairly cool style, becomes more polished and showa more depth with aeration, very good firm, grippy finish.
